Alana Wimmer Raspberry Stripes.jpg

Hey there! I'm Alana - graphic designer, business cheerleader,  chocolate-and-peanut-butter obsessed foodie, and owner of Raspberry Stripes Design Studio. I work with standout women in online business on projects and brands that create positive change.

Just six years ago, you would have found me wearing a black pencil skirt and sipping juice in my windowless cubicle, writing countless briefing notes.

That was after graduating with a degree in Communications and Journalism - and a few glorious years working in magazines and publishing (still love those industries!)

But all of it led back to a corporate office and misery.

I was hooked on the idea that people could create a business and design a life they loved. At 28, I decided to course-correct and go out on my own - something I'd always wanted to do but never found the courage to do it.

These days, what lights me up is creating stellar designs for my loved-up clients and stoking that fire of enough-ness and "you can do it!" for anyone with big ideas and big dreams.

This solo biz life can be lonely and let's face it, there are both pros and cons to wearing PJs at "work" and being very close to the ice cream stash all day long. That's why community is so damn important, and you're welcome into this little community here at RS.

Oh, and up til 2017, I created a digital magazine about all things women in business – Raspberry Magazine. I think you'll love it and you can read all 13 issues now for free!

Alana Wimmer is a self-made artist and designer, and the owner of Raspberry Stripes Design Studio. She works with with standout women in online business on projects and brands that create positive change. When she isn’t moving pixels, painting or planning a beach escape, you can find Alana walking Rory and Roxy the boxers, with her husband in tow, probably on her way to pick up an acai bowl.

A note on inclusion + ethics

I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I live, work and play: the Quandamooka People and pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging.

When I refer to the term ‘women’, I do so with the intention of including anyone who identifies as a woman.

I welcome people of every background, orientation and colour to my site and in any services or products I offer.

For every sale made by Raspberry Stripes, a donation is made to Kiva, which facilitates micro-business loans in developing countries.
